XIX CIES Annual Seminar 2008
Peru facing the 2009 global scenario: challenges and policy options
Over 33 researchers, winners of the X CIES Research Competition 2008, were awarded by the 2004 Economics Nobel Prize Finn E. Kydland.
Dr. Kydland arrived to Peru to participate in the opening ceremony of the XIX CIES Annual Seminar, one of the most expected events in Peruvian academia, which took place from December 9th to 12th at Swissôtel Lima.
In that opportunity, our annual seminar had two international keynote speakers. One of them was the 2004 Economics Nobel Prize Dr. Finn E. Kydland, who received this distinction for his contributions to the business cycles theory. Moreover, the recognized expert Dr. Alain De Janvry pronounced a keynote speech in the closing ceremony.
